WAZBAK QUEENS

WAZBAK Queens is a girls football team founded in April, 2020 and situated in Ebute Metta, which sits just next door to Lagos, Nigeria. Football is the heart of the community here and has produced many talented names such as Samson Tijani, Marcus Ayomide, and many more.

The team was created to help high school girls make positive choices in life. The aim is to give girls opportunities and character which would help steer them from negative influences which surround them at this young age. Football in the town has become the perfect escape route from social vices and brings a lot of joy to the players and families. The coaches at WAZBAK work with the girls throughout their school years with the hope that one day they will graduate into professional footballers.
